My career in real estate started by chance. I am originally from a small farming town in central Massachusetts and have a background in freelance photography. Drawn to a lifestyle in the mountains and the value of small-town communities, I moved to New Hampshire in 2015, began my own photography business, and set out to buy my first house. In the eight months of actively searching for the perfect home (and finally finding one!), I found that I had cultivated a skill for real estate and really enjoyed it. When offered a position by my agent after closing, I didn’t hesitate to accept. Within a matter of months I had earned my license as a sales associate and transitioned to selling real estate full time.
My experience in photography gives me a keen eye for visuals, allowing me to understand the aesthetic ambitions of my customers - be it helping a buyer to find the right home, or a seller to present their home in the best way possible. To me, real estate as a whole is all about helping people; whether you are a first time buyer in need of guidance, an empty nester trying to downsize, or a second home buyer looking for a place to make memories, I want to help you achieve those goals! I may have begun a life in real estate by chance, but I continue it for the relationships it allows me to forge with people from all walks of life, and the reward of being able to help each person navigate their unique situation as smoothly as possible.
In my free time I enjoy cycling, hiking, gardening with friends at the community garden, cooking (and eating!) tasty food, and spending time outside with my partner and our three dogs, Winston, George and Harriet. I also enjoy getting involved in my community as much as possible. I currently serve on an advisory committee for the Northern Forest Center, the Master Plan Committee, and I am the Vice Chair on the Lancaster Planning Board.
